I wanted to feedback on my 2-day course I took last week at Palm Valley course with Don Person. The experience was excellent, far exceeding my expectations. Don was an outstanding instructor. He quickly identified key gaps in my swing and game, and provided clear instructions with simple drills to start the correction process. I have spent the last two years watching various YouTube golf instruction videos with limited results, and often more confusion as to what I should be doing. Don simplified everything for me, and more importantly it applies across all the clubs in my bag in the same manner. The short game lessons were also amazing and very helpful.
I have played golf for over 30 years, and after the 2nd day of lessons, I wondered how I knew so little for so long. End of the day, I left the class with complete confidence in knowing what I need to practice, and more importantly how to practice it, and the results I should expect. My son Spencer also attended a 1-day lesson last week, and similarly Don was able to identify the key area of where his grip/swing was deficient, and coached him to a better way. In a few rounds since this instruction, Spencer’s game has shown markedly better ball striking and lower scores, as has my game.
